My brother just called me. He bought a new house today! It was exciting to hear. It really seems to me a step in becoming more adult… yeah sure he just got married and I joined a religious congregation. Those are both BIG things, (and more important than buying a house). But there was just something exciting about it for me. I am very happy for him and his wife as the get ready to move to San Antonio into their first house together (as in not an apartment). It also dawned on me that I will never reach that step. Buying a house will never be something for my life. It’s kind of sad. But thinking about it, trying to look more on the positive side, perhaps someday I will be able to start a new Church. Buy the land. Build the structures. Start the oratory from scratch. It’s a lot different, but that’s exciting as well.
On another note, we had our province celebrations yesterday with about 100 Salesians. It was great to see our whole province gathered and to get a better sense of what it is I’m in the middle of. B-Reed and I put on a skit making fun of our directors. Hopefully soon I can post it here.
But in the end, Congratulations Brother! I shall end this post with our brotherly motto: Brothers don’t shake hands, Brothers gotta hug.

The skit was amazing! I hope you do get it posted, I would like to see it again! I hope your Director feels the same way! Keep smiling and God bless! Padre
