Texas our Texas

I am at home for a few weeks on vacation, and it is great to be back. I’ve already covered Austin, San Antonio, and Houston. DFW is next. Driving from Houston to Austin today out on the open road, brought back a lot of good memories. I love this place.

The Qari family continued

Along with the rules and punishment, came some other key points for the priests. First, the sinful ways were largely thwarted, at least those that they could see. So the priests started on the material improvement. They began by redoing the carpet, painting the walls, and putting in new furniture and a big screen TV. [...]

The Qari Family

There once live a group of people, a large extended family with name of Qari, in a big house full of apartments for each immediate family. They were an okay enough bunch; they made things work at their house, though not without much difficulty. To be honest there were problems everyday: fights, kids getting into [...]

An eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth

Be honest, how many of you or people that you know follow this logic? It’s okay, it’s perfectly reasonable and acceptable logic…. that is, until Jesus came. He changed it up though. But this is a great way to see if you really believe in Jesus and his message. I notice that many many people still [...]

Our Ministry/ God’s Ministry

As I sit here in my room with my window open listening to the salsa music blaring from the house across the street, I keep thinking about our ministry as a religious congregation. This apartment house across the street is filled with people who don’t really care for us and I know they’re never at [...]
